My Roots
Nature has always fascinated me. As a child I spent hours rock pooling and looking for beach treasures on family holidays, creating perfumes from flower petals in the garden and catching moth friends, wondering why I was covered in dust…
Throughout my life I have always had a calling to create positive change. In early 30’s I took a leap of faith, changed my career and trained in Environmental Conservation. I became more and more awe struck by the wonders of the natural world.
Life throws us challenges, its part of the journey, to appreciate light there has to be dark. In those dark moments I walked in nature until my busy mind slowed down, noticing natures offerings, finding calm restoring parts of myself through connection. I felt I had discovered a gift and so I embarked on my journey to train as a foresting bathing guide, to deepen my kinship with the natural world and to share this beautiful wellness practise with others.
My Wild Wonder
I believe nature accepts us, exactly as we are, there is no need to be anything other than our true selves- it’s comforting, trusting and gives me a true sense of belonging.
I’m curious, astonished and grateful to the offerings that nature shares so freely, here are some of my favourites…
A simple joy: Morning sunrises
A scent that feels like home: The ocean
A sound that stops me in my tracks: Skylarks singing overhead
Weather I secretly love: Fierce wind
Tree I feel most at home with: A wise Oak
A small ritual I love: Feeling morning dew on my bare feet
Awestruck moment: When the starling murmurations return for autumn
You’ll often finding me: Marvelling at fungi
My pockets are usually full of: Nature treasures
A tiny detail that catches my eye: Spider webs dancing in the light
A texture I’m drawn to: Moss
When I need to reconnect: I close my eyes
Invitation to Poetry Play- write a simple poem about your observations of the natural world…
I come to you for sancturary,
I place where I am fully me,
You always share your wonder and delight,
From ground to canopy, flow or flight,
You hold space for me, come rain or shine,
A sacred place, comforting, divine,
Oh, how sweet life can be,
Holding such gratitude for welcoming me.
Why don’t you give it a try? Find a quiet spot, perhaps in your garden or favourite nature space, take a few deep breathes and let the words flow.
My Wild Vision
To offer a space where you can feel a true sense of belonging- to yourself, to nature, and to something larger than everyday life.
Through gentle guidance, create opportunities for you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world in a way that feels grounding, real and right for you.
My intention is to bridge your experience to rediscover your innate connection to nature and, through that, deepen your understanding of yourself.
To hold spaces that feel welcoming, supportive, inclusive and non judgemental- whether you are alone or part of a group.
Above all, to offer moments of wonder, playfulness, and quiet wisdom- an experience that supports you to feel more connected, balanced and free.
