Wild Wonder hosts monthly group sessions at a private woodland in Essendon, Hertfordshire.

Seasonally themed with the turning of the year to support your wellbeing, exploring creativity, sensory awakening, reflection, and grounding.

Group Sessions

Forest bathing, known as Shinrin Yoku, is a Japanese mindfulness practice that invites you to slow down and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the forest. A gentle, mindful way of connecting with nature using all your senses. It’s not a hike or workout, but a slow, calming wander that helps you relax, reset, and feel more present. It’s inquisitive, freeing and a non judgemental space. There are many physiological benefits such as lowering stress, boosting immunity and it gives you a lovely dose of serotonin- happy hormones!

  • 3 hour experience covering less than a mile

  • Warm welcome & gentle introduction

  • Sensory Awakening

  • A slow walk to connect with the elements, sights, touch and sounds

  • Seasonal invitations exploring themes such as creativity, gratitude, curiosity and kinship

  • Sit spot reflection

  • Foraged tea ceremony and nibbles

To keep the experience meaningful and intimate, spaces are limited.

What to expect

Before the session I had an active mind and a busy brain, afterwards I felt zen, composed, alert to nature and wonder around me.

What participants said…

I loved the first meditation, and the timeline activity. The first one helped me to connect and the timeline helped me to trust and listen to my gut.

Isabel

By the end of the session I felt chilled, happy, connected and renewed.
